Features Description

Barn Owl Hill Farm is a working crop farm. Guests are welcome to amble around the property but the outbuildings and barns are off-limits due to safety. Guests should be aware that there is active farming on the property which includes 24 hours of harvest machinery during harvest which lasts one to two days. Harvest will happen sometime between the end of July and the end of August - exact timing is dependent on the weather. Other activity during various times of the spring and summer can include planting and tilling and similar goings-on. Home is located in a rural location, with that comes a higher presence of bugs and wildlife. Home is treated regularly for pests. There are two exterior cameras one near the garage and one on the front porch both pointing towards the driveway. Please check pet policies and add your dog(s) to your reservation. There is a per stay dog fee of $60 for up to two dogs.

Location Description

Barn Owl Hill Farm is located about 10 minutes from the little town of Amity. Twenty minutes away is Mc Minnville - the heart of Wine Country and named one of the best small towns in America for foodies - you should be able to find plenty of culinary adventure here. In addition to the food scene, there are over 250 wineries within 30 minutes of the house, six of which are right in the neighborhood! For the non-wine folks, there are distilleries and taprooms to enjoy.

Guest Access

Guest will have exclusive access to the entire home except for the garage, basement and storage closets. The land is currently used for farming, and agricultural activity may take place during the guest's stay. The home is equipped with a keyless entry.

Getting Around

Located a short distance of Highway 99W, the farm has easy access for those coming from Salem or Mc Minnville. Guests will receive the code for the cable gate lock, as well as the entry door. The cable should be dropped on the ground and carefully driven over while staying at the farm. Upon departure, the cable gate should be rehung. You will need a vehicle to experience the area.

House Rules

  1. Guest agrees to sign a guest agreement (for 29+ day stays Truvi process). Certain homes require a security deposit of up to $500.
  2. All Porch Light Vacation Rentals are smoke, vape and marijuana free properties (on and. in the property).
  3. Pets are allowed only at properties specified as pet-friendly. Pet fee or security hold applies.
  4. Guests making the reservation must be 25 years of age or older and must be at the property during the entirety of the stay.
  5. No RV parking is allowed.
  6. Each property has maximum occupancy and maximum car limits and may have specific parking instructions. No outside guests are allowed without prior permission.
  7. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10 pm and 9 am.
  8. NO EVENTS and NO PARTIES of any kind are allowed.


Cancellation Policy

For stays shorter than 28 days:

  • Cancel 30 days or more before arrival – receive a 100% refund
  • Cancel 14 to 29 days before arrival – receive a 50% refund
  • Cancel less than 14 days before arrival – no refund

For stays of 28 days or longer:

  • The first 28 days of your stay follow the policy above.
  • If you cancel after your stay has begun, any upcoming 30-day period is nonrefundable.
